VP Talent and Performance Manager

A leading Boston firm is looking for a VP level Talent and Performance Manager to join their HR team!

  • Support the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, in developing training objectives for our internal teams and develop strategies and timelines to deliver standardized training.
  • Partner with department leaders and People Business Partners to understand performance gaps and identify learning and development opportunities.
  • Create an annual training plan for the company with specific goals and timelines that can be measured. Report quarterly on progress against objectives.
  • Develop and execute the Leadership Development Program for all levels of people leaders. Continually assess the programs and determine ways to enhance our development of leaders within the organization and build a strong succession planning process.
  • Design and implement talent development tools to engage current and future leaders for the organization.
  • Create career path programs to encourage retention and growth of our employees.
  • Evaluate results of training programs to assess effectiveness of training.
  • Engage with peers in professional associations and collaborate with other Training/Organizational Development professionals on best practices to improve our training programs.
  • Lead change management for key initiatives for the business. Develop change management capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead the annual performance management & talent review process including program strategy, ongoing annual goal setting, and year-end processes. Supports HRBPs with year-end calibration sessions and ensures any business-specific performance management activities align with reward and recognition programs.
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives for the business.
  • Contribute as a key member on the People Leadership team.
  • Coach, develop and grow the Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition team members to best support the needs of the business.
