Temp to Perm HR Generalist
Join our client's dynamic team as an HR Generalist, where you'll play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee retention. This is on-site 5 days, lower Cape Cod
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, resume screening, and interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure alignment with company goals and values.
- Use diverse sourcing methods to build a strong, inclusive talent pipeline.
2. Onboarding:
- Design and improve an onboarding process that ensures smooth integration and success for new hires.
- Conduct orientations, complete necessary paperwork, and collaborate with departments to ensure new employees are well-equipped.
3. Training & Development:
- Identify skill gaps and develop training programs that elevate employee performance and growth.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions on company policies, safety, and professional development.
- Continuously assess and enhance training effectiveness.
4. Employee Retention:
- Implement strategies to reduce turnover and boost employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand employee concerns and needs.
- Drive initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive culture.
- Help create and manage employee recognition and reward programs.
5. HR Administration:
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Provide HR support, guidance, and advice to both managers and employees.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
- Experience in the construction industry is a bonus.
