Job Summary:
The team is hiring for multiple tax roles within the firm, from entry-level Tax Associates to experienced Senior Tax Managers. Candidates will work on tax preparation, compliance, and planning for a wide range of clients. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will vary by level but may include:
- Tax Associate:
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning and research.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax issues.
- Tax Senior:
- Review tax returns prepared by associates.
- Perform detailed tax research and assist with planning for high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Build client relationships and provide value-added services.
- Tax Manager:
- Manage multiple client engagements from start to finish.
- Provide high-level tax planning and consulting services.
- Lead tax staff and review their work.
- Participate in business development and client relationship management.
- Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations.
- Senior Tax Manager:
- Oversee the tax department and supervise all levels of staff.
- Manage large and complex client portfolios.
- Serve as a strategic advisor for clients, offering proactive tax planning and consulting.
- Lead firm-wide tax initiatives and contribute to growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance and maintain quality standards across the department.
Qualifications:
Qualifications will vary depending on the role, but generally include:
- Tax Associate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Tax Senior:
- 4+ years of public accounting experience in tax.
