Sr. Accountant

Our client, one of Cape Cod’s fastest growing companies is adding to staff!!

We are looking for a Sr Accountant to join this team! This will be a hybrid schedule! This role will offer lots of career advancement.

Prepare and post monthly journal entries.

Prepare month-end reporting packages for upper management.

Research and perform analysis of change in general ledger account balances / analysis of month and year-end results for management.

Develop and maintain financial models that will assist in analyzing performance results and develop insight on trends.

Develop annual budgets and forecasts.

Assist in the monitoring of sales performance and the calculation of sales commissions,

Perform miscellaneous ad-hoc research and reporting and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of continuous accounting experience.

2-3 years of public accounting preferred

Strong research and analysis skills with the ability to communicate clearly in both financial and non-financial terms

Strong understanding of accounting principles/GAAPincluding principals of revenue recognition and inventory valuation.

Expert level proficiency with MS Excel utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, slicers, macros/VBA, charting

Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or Business Central preferred
