Senior Accountant

Our client is one of the fastest growing management platforms in the United States. This is a newly-created opportunity that will be the right hand to an excellent head of Finance - This firm has a dynamic culture and work life balance and will offer hybrid schedule.

The Sr. Accountant will be hands on in Implementing processes and building out a team. Tons of exposure throughout the organization and will offer lots of room for growth.

• Assist with overseeing the month-end close/consolidation process, including the recording of journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and calculating various balance sheet reserves
• Manage overall working capital requirements, including processes relating to AR, AP, and cash forecasting
• Maintain the ERP financial reporting system in order to meet the needs of management and other reporting requirements
• Ensure efficient payroll processes are in place to ensure timely processing, accuracy of multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional payments, and compliance with local taxation authorities
• Provide leadership in defining and governing cross functional KPIs with high impact on financial performance (i.e., operating expenses relative to sales)
• Ensure compliance of internal controls over financial reporting
• Coordinate and supervise the year-end audit, including the internal and external audit functions, and quarterly reviews as applicable
• Oversee and manage the tax function and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience working in a SaaS environment is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA (or on track to be certified) preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines; able to multi-task
• Confidence, good judgment, self-motivated, energy and personality to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies
• Experience working with NetSuite is preferred
