The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for streamlining all accounting procedures and help to implement new systems and best practices while preparing monthly journal entries & month end reporting, develop financial models, develop annual budgets and forecasts, preform analysis in GL. This role is highly visible and we will need someone with 5 years of accounting experience --public accounting experience would be preferred!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Ideal Senior Accountant will have minimum 5 years’ experience

Must have real estate environment experience

Experience managing leases, handling sales and use tax, etc.

Adept at preparing quarterly tax and GAAP reports

Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software

Must be able to handle annual portfolio budgets
