RFP Writer

We are seeking a Senior RFP writer who will be responsible for crafting well-written and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Write tailored, persuasive, high-quality responses to RFPs to support business development efforts across the globe.
  • Utilize the firm's tools and databases as well as collaborate with teams across the organization to craft differentiated, well positioned responses; ensure that questions are comprehensively answered and that written responses are appropriately customized for the specific opportunity.
  • Manage a structured, organized RFP process that incorporates stakeholder inputs, reviews and strict deadlines.
  • Develop and hone a strong knowledge base of the firm's products, asset classes, investment approach, and other aspects of the corporate platform to effectively understand and respond to prospect and consultant requests.
  • Maintain and drive development of the RFP database (Qvidian). Assist in driving standardized content across all marketing collateral in conjunction with validated Qvidian content.
  • Create and maintain sample RFP content.
  • Write new and complex RFP responses in partnership with product managers, investment personnel, legal and compliance partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement across team processes and written content.
  • Retrieve and analyze data to complete quantitative components of RFPs/RFIs and ensure data provided is accurate and applicable.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related field; in pursuit of MBA and/or CFA a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience such as investment consulting, institutional client service, new business proposal (RFP) writing, institutional marketing, or project management.
  • Knowledge of institutional marketplace; quant background a plus.
  • Experience with the RFP process required and the Qvidian a plus. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Project management skills are essential, including the ability to marshal resources; communicate and manage timelines and responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task. Excellent organizational skills and ability to take control and manage tasks independently to closure.
