Real Estate Paralegal (Hybrid: 3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to support its Commercial Real Estate & Transactions practice. In this role, you’ll work closely with attorneys across all stages of complex transactions and financings. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced in financing, conveyancing, leasing, zoning, title, and survey matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of commercial real estate transactions from LOI through closing.

• Coordinate due diligence including ordering and reviewing title commitments, title policies, UCCs, surveys, zoning letters, and municipal certificates.

• Prepare and manage closing checklists, timelines, signatures, and deliverables.

• Draft and organize closing binders, conveyancing documents, affidavits, settlement statements, and related closing materials.

• Coordinate recordings and filings with registries and governmental agencies.

• Liaise with clients, lenders, brokers, municipal officials, title companies, and surveyors.

• Track post-closing obligations and maintain matter files and databases.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm setting required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial transactions, including financing and leasing.

• Proficiency with title and survey review and closing logistics; familiarity with e-recording platforms is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home (with flexibility based on deal activity).
