New opening at a prominent law firm South of Boston! We are seeking a dedicated Real Estate and Land Use Attorney with expertise in wetlands to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in wetlands compliance and a commitment to exceptional legal services for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wetlands Compliance: Advise on federal, state, and local regulations. Represent clients in permitting processes.

- Land Use and Zoning: Provide counsel on wetlands' impact on development projects and zoning issues.

- Real Estate Transactions: Manage transactions involving wetlands, including due diligence and negotiations.

- Environmental Litigation: Represent clients in disputes related to wetlands, regulatory decisions, and environmental claims.

- Regulatory Advocacy: Advocate for clients in regulatory matters involving wetlands.

- Public Policy: Stay updated on wetlands regulations and provide advice on new legislation.

- Client Representation: Represent stakeholders in transactions and disputes involving wetlands.

- Educational Outreach: Conduct workshops on wetlands-related issues for clients and professionals.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in real estate and land use law with a focus on wetlands.

- Licensing: Must be admitted to practice law in MA.

- Specialized Knowledge: In-depth understanding of wetlands regulations.

- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Additional certification in environmental law is a plus.
