Our client is a leading investment management firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our clients. We specialize in managing a diverse range of investment products, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Our firm is committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a talented Product Analyst to join our team and support process improvements across various business units.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the product management function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
- Analyze existing workflows and procedures to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation.
Product Analysis:
- Conduct research and analysis on investment products, including mutual funds and ETFs, to support product development, enhancement, and maintenance efforts.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
Support Business Units:
- Provide analytical support to various business units, including marketing, data analysis, legal compliance, and technology, to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product-related inquiries, resolve issues, and support product launches and marketing campaigns.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to investment performance, fund flows, market trends, and investor behavior to generate insights and recommendations for product strategy and positioning.
- Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including portfolio managers, investment analysts, marketers, and technologists, to ensure alignment and collaboration on product-related initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on investment products, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in product management, investment analysis, or related roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of investment terminology and concepts, with knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and quantitative methods, with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
