Product Marketing Manager

This role plays an integral part in the overall product lifecycle management from concepts to phase-out planning. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and delivering product management and development strategy for assigned categories, across all markets, including new product ideation, product management and product marketing strategy. The Product Marketing Manager will serve as inter-disciplinary role, bridging gaps and working collaboratively with multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with product heads to map the course for our services and marketing strategy, evaluating customer experiences and conducting product design;
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on the experiences and needs of clients and prospects, actively work with account and sales management teams, interviewing clients and working with industry impactors;
  • Aiding cross-functional dialogue around gaps between customer/market needs and our capabilities to inform product roadmaps and launch plans;
  • Partnering with enablement and content teams to update and develop pitch decks, datasheets and case studies that distinguish our company from competitors and demonstrate customer benefits;
  • Researching competitor capabilities and market trends to influence and adapt product roadmaps and marketing efforts;
  • Collaborating with Corporate Communications and external PR agencies to generate press releases and media coverage;
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and evangelist through webcasts, social media, briefings and product demonstrations.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to interact with all tiers of leadership to drive a point around the future of the product and marketing campaigns;
  • Demonstrate flexibility while keeping your eye on the prize;
  • Extensive background in product messaging
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a solid technical knowledge foundation with the ability to translate technical content into business value for external and internal stakeholders;
  • Business acumen and industry ease that enables you to successfully engage with senior leadership, customers, prospects and industry impactors;
  • Readiness to roll up your sleeves and conduct detailed, substantive market and product research in order to understand our products, competitor’s products, and the market we work in;
  • Able to work effectively within a team, and also have the ability to work independently
  • Authentic, enthusiastic, collaborative, dedicated and open-minded!

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA strongly preferred
  • 5 plus years of professional experience, including at least three years of product marketing experience

Experience in the healthcare marketplace preferred
