Payroll Manager

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate Payroll Manager to join a vibrant team as a key player in ensuring smooth payroll operations, you'll manage the payroll process using UKG Pro (this is a must have!), and contribute to a fun, collaborative work culture!

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

    • Manage and oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees using UKG Pro.
    • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
    • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a friendly and professional manner.

Payroll Reporting:

  • Generate and distribute accurate payroll reports, including tax reports, deductions, and benefits information.
  • Provide detailed payroll data to internal teams and management for budgeting and planning purposes.

Compliance and Taxation:

  • Stay up to date on local, state, and federal payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensure proper deductions for tax, benefits, and other adjustments are applied in accordance with legal requirements.

Employee Support/Management:

    • Serve as a go-to person for employees with payroll-related questions or concerns, maintaining a positive and approachable attitude.
    • Provide guidance on payroll procedures, tax withholdings, and other compensation-related matters.
    • Has experience managing a team

Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
    • Work with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding, terminations, and employee status changes within the payroll system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll management, ideally using UKG Pro
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels.
