Operations Manager - flex manufacturing and PCB

As an Operations Manager you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of production to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and engineers, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with expertise in both flex manufacturing and PCB assembly processes. This job is in the office full time.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the flex manufacturing and PCB assembly operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
Oversee production schedules and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including IPC standards for PCB assembly.
Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, minimize defects, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Implement best practices for inventory management, material handling, and production planning.
