Operations Manager - flex manufacturing and PCB
As an Operations Manager you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of production to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and engineers, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with expertise in both flex manufacturing and PCB assembly processes. This job is in the office full time.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the flex manufacturing and PCB assembly operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Oversee production schedules and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including IPC standards for PCB assembly.
- Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, minimize defects, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Implement best practices for inventory management, material handling, and production planning.
