A leading firm in Boston is looking to add a Marketing Data Analytics Manager to their team. This role revolves around managing and leveraging marketing data effectively while adhering to strict data governance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the collection of marketing data from various sources such as customer interactions, website analytics, social media, and third-party vendors. Ensure seamless integration of this data into marketing databases or platforms.
  • Implement processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. This involves regular data cleansing, deduplication, and validation procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about relevant data protection regulations and ensure compliance across all marketing activities. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to assess risks and implement necessary safeguards.
  • Implement measures to protect marketing data from unauthorized access, breaches, or cyber threats. This includes encryption, access controls, and regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Utilize marketing data to generate insights, track campaign performance, and measure ROI. Leverage analytics tools and techniques to extract actionable intelligence that informs strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with marketing teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to align data management initiatives with business objectives. Foster collaboration and communication to ensure the effective utilization of marketing data across the organization.
  • Continuously assess and improve data management processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in marketing technology and data analytics.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Marketing data management
  • Experience with SQL or other languages to access data
  • Strong understanding of data governance standards
