Investment Marketing Coordinator -hybrid schedule-Boston 3x a week in the office

Job Description:

As a Marketing Coordinator at our financial services firm, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various subject areas while supporting our marketing efforts. This product marketing role offers a dynamic environment where every day presents new challenges and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Product Deliverables: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual product deliverables across affiliates. This includes updating and maintaining foundational materials such as factsheets, commentaries, and pitch books.
  2. Data Management: Gather and prioritize data, collaborating with different departments to manage deliverables from inception through completion. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and speed to market in all marketing collateral.
  3. Analysis of Marketing Collateral: Analyze usage and engagement of product marketing collateral to ensure its effectiveness for sales and clients. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Interact successfully with internal business partners including Compliance, Design, Sales, Fulfillment, the Investment Strategist Group, and Product teams. Foster effective communication and collaboration to achieve marketing goals.
  5. Quarter-end Responsibilities: Assist in planning and executing quarterly updates of performance collateral under tight deadlines. Ensure updates are completed prior to any data expiration.
  6. Continuous Learning: Proactively build and improve knowledge of the investment industry and asset management business. Take advantage of training opportunities offered internally and externally, including conferences, sales call listening, etc.
  7. Marketing Campaign Support: Support the Marketing Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns. This includes preparing social media posts and graphics, maintaining/updating the corporate website, and assisting with the design and production of marketing materials.
  8. Document Management: Prepare, format, and edit a wide range of documents. Coordinate the purchase of corporate branded merchandise and client gifts.
  9. Database Management: Maintain the marketing database and work closely with the sales team to ensure data accuracy and effectiveness in marketing efforts.
  10. Market Research: Identify marketing trends, industry pulse, and key opportunities for innovation. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies.
  11. Employee Training and Events: Organize efforts surrounding annual employee training and team-building events. Assist in coordinating logistics and ensuring successful execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An internship or temporary assignment within an asset manager or investment firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to professional development.
