As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with a focus on Employee Relations to join our dynamic HR team.

Job Overview:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – Employee Relations will play a critical role in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues across the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to both employees and management, ensuring that all employee relations matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in alignment with company values and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations Management: Lead and manage the resolution of complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure that all employee relations practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Provide guidance to management on legal risks and best practices.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures related to employee relations. Ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with management and leadership teams to provide strategic advice and guidance on employee relations matters. Partner with other HR functions to align employee relations strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and legal compliance.
  • Proactive Issue Management: Identify potential employee relations issues and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics. Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership on key employee relations issues and areas for improvement.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee relations matters.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: 12-15+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee relations, including at least 3 years in a senior HRBP
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employee relations best practices, conflict resolution techniques, and employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, Title VII).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex situations, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and complex employee relations issues with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide managers and employees through difficult situations.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

This is a hybrid role which offers a fantastic work/ life balance. You are in the office 3 days a week and 2 days a week work from home.

This is an exempt full-time position. The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $150,000-170,000 Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
