Location: Billerica, MA (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Overview: As a Global Event Manager at our firm, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our event strategy worldwide. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in event management, strategic planning, and global coordination. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end event logistics, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring seamless and impactful events that contribute to the company's global brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute global events, including but not limited to conferences, trade shows, product launches, and corporate gatherings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of event objectives with overall marketing and business goals.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and on-site staffing.
- Global Travel Management:
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements for events, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation for team members attending events globally.
- Manage travel budgets and negotiate contracts with travel vendors to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Provide regular updates on budget status and variance analysis.
- Vendor Management:
- Identify and build relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality services within budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with event-related vendors, including hotels, catering services, and event technology providers.
- Remote Work and Office Coordination:
- Work in the office four days a week in Billerica, MA, and one day remotely, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with the global team.
- Utilize virtual collaboration tools for effective remote teamwork.
- Post-Event Analysis:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance future event strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in planning and executing global events for a technology or software company.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
- Willingness to travel globally as needed.
