Our client is a well-established financial services firm located in the picturesque Cape Cod region of Massachusetts. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong financial background who is looking to contribute to our company's success and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess investment opportunities, portfolio performance, and risk management.
  2. Data Management: Manage and maintain financial data and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and long-term financial planning, providing insights to improve financial efficiency.
  4. Reporting: Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure that financial operations comply with legal requirements.
  6. Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve financial discrepancies.
  7. Investment Support: Assist in investment strategy and analysis, evaluating potential investments and monitoring portfolio performance.
  8. Ad-Hoc Projects: Collaborate with the finance team on special projects, financial modeling, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in financial analysis or a related role is a plus.
