Executive Assistant

We are looking to hire a professional, highly-skilled Executive Assistant to support a busy team in a top DC firm!
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the executive’s inbox, fluctuating calendars due to competing priorities and arrange detailed travel logistics
- Oversee organization and preparation of materials for executive presentations, meetings, and special projects
- Partner with others to manage, plan, and coordinate recurring and special projects as well as activities and communications for onsite and off-site executive-sponsored meetings and events
- Independently compose, edit and proofread business correspondence, presentations, reports, articles, etc., and conduct research as necessary
- Represent senior leadership by serving as a liaison to internal and external clients and following up with clients when appropriate
- Manage expense reconciliation for assigned executives
- Attend key meetings with the executive and represent them in meetings as necessary, taking notes, and tracking decisions and action items
- Serve as a role model for others across the firm
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in business, communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience required, preferably in an executive support role; experience in a professional services environment preferred
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
- High level of adaptability and flexibility; ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion
- Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish, including managing peers and individuals senior to you
- Ability to understand problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint); advanced skills preferred
