As a result, we are seeking a Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) to lead and enhance our initiatives, focusing on the US component of our DEI strategy. This is a hybrid position based in Boston, MA.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with the CEO, Head of Human Resources, and Advisory Committee to develop and achieve DEI goals and strategy aligned with the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership, managers, and employees to foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
  • Serve as the primary internal expert on DEI matters, providing thought leadership and guidance on current events, and updating senior leadership on DEI matters and best practices.
  • Research, develop, recommend, and implement innovative strategies to advance the organization’s DEI goals.
  • Lead diversity analytics efforts, including benchmarking, workforce demographics, and trends analysis, providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Chair the DEI Advisory Committee, focused on setting DEI goals and strategies for achieving them.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop strategies for recruiting underrepresented talent.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management to retain, develop, and advance underrepresented talent.
  • Direct and support Employee Resource Groups to define and achieve their business plans.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Employee Engagement and Community and the Vendor Management Office to identify engagement opportunities in underrepresented areas.
  • Coordinate with global DEI teams to share ideas and coordinate efforts.
  • Identify and implement DEI learning opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing and Public Relations to develop DEI content for intranet and other platforms, and represent the Company in external DEI forums, conferences, and events.
  • Enhance external contacts to foster industry relationships, identify external programs, stay informed on standard practices, and strengthen DEI expertise.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Seven plus years of directly related experience.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of DEI best practices, driving meaningful business and employee experience outcomes.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, able to engage in constructive dialogue cross-functionally and at all levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of effective DEI advancement strategies and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, Affirmative Action).
  • Collegial, compassionate, and consultative approach, adept at facilitating productive discussions.
  • Balancing strategic thinking, operational execution, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills, delivering results with attention to detail.
