Our client offers an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished marketing leader to join a sophisticated, high-performing organization with an excellent culture, talented leadership team, and strong commitment to its employees.

This is an environment where marketing has a meaningful seat at the table. You'll work alongside talented professionals across investments, distribution, strategy, and marketing while leading highly visible initiatives that directly support business growth.

The organization combines the resources and stability of a leading financial institution with a collaborative, team-oriented culture where employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership, and grow professionally.

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Product Marketing to lead a team of product marketers while also remaining actively involved in strategy and execution. This is a true player/coach opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, creating strategy, and rolling up their sleeves to bring sophisticated marketing programs to life.

The Opportunity

The Director will help shape how investment products, solutions, asset-class expertise, and timely market themes are positioned and delivered to financial advisors and other intermediary audiences.

You will lead strategic product marketing initiatives across equity and fixed income strategies while supporting a range of investment solutions that may include customized investment strategies, direct indexing, portfolio solutions, and consulting capabilities.

This role brings together product marketing, investment storytelling, advisor insights, digital marketing, content strategy, sales enablement, and integrated campaign execution.

You'll partner closely with Distribution/Sales, investment professionals, strategy teams, product specialists, and marketing colleagues to identify opportunities and translate complex investment concepts into compelling marketing programs that resonate with advisors and support business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of strategic product marketers.
  • Provide leadership around marketing strategy, planning, storytelling, prioritization, stakeholder management, and execution.
  • Serve as a senior strategic marketing lead for sophisticated investment products and solutions.
  • Develop compelling positioning and messaging across equity, fixed income, and solutions-oriented investment offerings.
  • Identify go-to-market opportunities based on market trends, advisor needs, investment priorities, product opportunities, and sales feedback.
  • Build integrated marketing programs connecting product messaging, advisor-facing content, digital engagement, sales enablement, and follow-up opportunities.
  • Translate complex investment concepts into clear, differentiated, advisor-relevant stories and campaigns.
  • Develop marketing narratives connecting market opportunities, investor needs, investment solutions, portfolio applications, and the organization's broader value proposition.
  • Partner with Sales/Distribution to develop programs that help advisors understand and utilize investment solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and strategic direction to content and editorial planning based on timely market themes and advisor needs.
  • Lead integrated advisor-facing campaigns across digital, content, communications, sales enablement, and other marketing channels.
  • Partner with client and channel marketing teams on targeted campaigns and communications.
  • Establish project objectives, priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables across complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage senior stakeholders and influence decisions across teams without direct authority.
  • Evaluate competing opportunities and recommend priorities based on business impact, client relevance, sales needs, and marketing resources.
  • Use marketing insights and performance data to continually optimize campaigns and programs.
  • Maintain momentum from initial strategy and concept development through execution and measurement.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, investment marketing, campaign strategy, financial services marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, asset classes, financial markets, advisor audiences, and portfolio applications.
  • Experience marketing investment products or solutions to financial advisors and intermediary audiences strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring marketing professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing programs.
  • Experience with digital marketing, content strategy, digital journeys, sales enablement, advisor-facing campaigns, and marketing automation.
  • Ability to translate sophisticated financial and investment concepts into compelling, easy-to-understand marketing messages.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between Marketing, Distribution/Sales, Product, and Investment teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in a regulated environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, judgment, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
