Controller

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to lead our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information, maintaining and strengthening internal controls, preparing financial reports, and driving financial strategy to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and manage the preparation of budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, including tax filings.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Work with the CFO to formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems and implement operational best practices.
• Supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the technology industry.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable ability to plan and strategize at a senior level.
