We are a growing engineering firm in the Wrentham area experiencing continued expansion and increased hiring demand. To support our growth, we are seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide immediate, hands-on recruiting support and help drive timely, high-quality hiring across the organization.

Position Summary

The Contract Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process while ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting the company’s short- and long-term hiring goals. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deliver strategic and efficient talent acquisition solutions, with a strong focus on filling engineering and technical roles.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand immediate hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offer processes.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume and critical roles.
  • Proactively source talent through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and regional teams to align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
  • Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics to ensure timely progress and transparency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment processes during the contract period.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within engineering, construction, or a technical environment.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
