  • Accurately administer active and retiree health and welfare benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, disability products, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, wellness, COBRA, the Institution’s, dependent care reimbursement program) and retirement plans, including transactional duties by processing through third-party providers, HRIS, payroll, and other system assuring accurate record keeping
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry and updates to the appropriate systems for enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Effectively develop strong working relationships with external and internal colleagues, including HR team members across the department, as well as vendors, carriers, Payroll/Finance, HRIS and other departments to ensure vendor billing and payroll deductions are accurate
  • Draft and maintain accurate and illustrative documents, standard operating procedures, and guidelines (i.e., vendor file submissions, data processing procedures, etc.), assuring systems and processes adequately support the various HR functions and objectives and compliance with applicable state, federal laws such as ACA, DOL, IRS, PBGC, HIPAA, Section 125, and ERISA
