Position Overview: As a Client Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to our clients and ensuring their investment needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique investment objectives and preferences.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs and provide personalized solutions to enhance their overall experience.

Account Administration:

  • Assist clients with account openings, transfers, and other administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client account information and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries and resolve account-related issues in a timely manner.

Investment Support:

  • Coordinate with portfolio managers and investment analysts to provide clients with relevant investment updates and insights.
  • Assist clients with investment inquiries, including performance reporting, portfolio analysis, and investment product information.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to effectively support client discussions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the operational aspects of client accounts, including trade processing, account maintenance, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing client interactions and account management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the client service team.

Client Communication:

  • Prepare and distribute client communications, such as account statements, performance reports, and market updates.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and other materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in client service or relationship management within the investment management industry required
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
