Cabinet Designer / Sales

If you are a creative and customer-oriented Cabinet Designer and Salesperson, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone with a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and strong sales skills for an amazing opportunity with a construction client in Brewster. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, creating custom cabinet designs, and facilitating the sales process from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Conduct site visits to measure spaces and assess design requirements.
- Provide expert advice on design options, materials, and finishes.
- Develop detailed cabinet designs using CAD software or other design tools.
- Create 3D renderings and detailed drawings to help clients visualize their new cabinets.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and ensure final approval.
- Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
- Manage client relationships throughout the design and installation process to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Oversee the installation process to ensure designs are executed to specification.
- Address any issues or changes that arise during the project.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any client concerns or questions promptly.
- Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet design and sales or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design).
- Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, construction methods, and finishes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
