Cabinet Designer / Sales

If you are a creative and customer-oriented Cabinet Designer and Salesperson, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone with a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and strong sales skills for an amazing opportunity with a construction client in Brewster. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, creating custom cabinet designs, and facilitating the sales process from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their design needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Conduct site visits to measure spaces and assess design requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on design options, materials, and finishes.
  • Develop detailed cabinet designs using CAD software or other design tools.
  • Create 3D renderings and detailed drawings to help clients visualize their new cabinets.
  • Revise designs based on client feedback and ensure final approval.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the design and installation process to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
  • Oversee the installation process to ensure designs are executed to specification.
  • Address any issues or changes that arise during the project.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any client concerns or questions promptly.
  • Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet design and sales or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design).
    • Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, construction methods, and finishes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
