Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage multiple audits, reviews, compilations, and client engagements from planning to final presentation of financial statements. As a key member of our team, you will apply technical expertise, research skills, and leadership to ensure the successful completion of engagements while providing superior client service and mentorship to staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple client engagements, including planning, execution, and successful completion within budget constraints.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of engagements to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact and providing superior customer service.
  • Recognize and resolve potential or existing issues through research and consulting.
  • Provide consulting services to clients, making recommendations for business and process improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and issues, including mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, and growth objectives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of department training programs.
  • Monitor budgets, assist with staff scheduling and workload assignments, and prepare client billings.
  • Conduct formal training seminars for staff members and actively participate in practice development opportunities.

Required Experience:

  • CPA with 5+ years of progressive experience in a CPA firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to adjust schedule based on peak workload times.
