Our mid cape client is a dynamic and growing company committed to delivering excellence to their clients. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and motivated Accountant to join our team.

They are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to contribute to our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accountant will be responsible for various financial tasks including but not limited to:

Managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Reconciling bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conducting regular audits of financial procedures and recommending improvements where necessary.
Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decision-making.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Providing support during external audits and tax filings.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
